Miracles! I love being a missionary for Jesus Christ. It is the greatest! Some stories of the week:
I continue to teach my companion with key phrases and terms. I taught her what Deseret Industries is, and she loves it! Sister missionary heaven!
I dropped Virgina, my less-active the other day. It is the saddest moment to drop someone because you know they could use the guidance of the Spirit SO much! But unless they choose to accept it, you've done all you can do. But I have the faith that Virginia will be provided with another opportunity to further increase her testimony and her desire to come unto God.
We took a tour this past Saturday, and took around 2 women from Thailand, an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old. The cutest things! They had just come to the states to work for a few months and then return home. They told us they were Buddhist, so we were trying to come up with some common ground. The tour wasn't going too well at first until the Spirit brought to my remembrance that they believe God is in all things living! We built on that and taught the Plan of Salvation. We taught them how to pray to God and we are going to start teaching them!
We then took a Spanish tour, and it was a less-active member and his non-member wife. We took them through God's Plan, the wonderful 20 min video about families, and we will start teaching the man's wife! We are so excited for them to be working towards going to the temple to be sealed forever!
We went to the Lion House to celebrate Sister Cano passing off for English tours! Sister Asay from Texas, Sister Lopez from Mexico, Sister Dutra from Brazil, and Sister Vargas from Spain all came with us!
An employee talked with us and mentioned he is on a service mission at his local family history center. He told us that only 2.5% of members do Geneology! WHAT?! What a sad fact! I'll make it a trend(:
I went on exchanges with Sister Ueno from Japan and we took a Japanese tour. This girl from Japan had visited Temple Square with her host family for the evening on an exchange program. We took her to the Beehive House and we talked about the construction of the Salt Lake Temple. Sister Ueno and I taught together. I would speak in English, and she would translate in Japanese.

We as missionaries are here to help people prepare to meet God, and we want all the opportunity to know of the FULL goodness of God.
